Ok, that title could actually be talking about a new different things, but I’m talking about my favorite sale of all time. Of course that would be the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Every July, I get really excited and start planning my shopping trip months in advance.
This may sound like overkill, but between the sale prices, prepping for a fall wardrobe and simply not wanting to fight the mall or a dressing room, I mark my calendar each summer so I can get online in time. This year, the sale fell right as I was having our daughter, so I hadn’t really given much thought to ordering much of anything. However, since the sale ran for a few weeks and I was able to guage where I was body-wise, I decided to order a bunch of stuff to see what worked. (By the way, this is the way to go because returning things at Nordstrom is a piece of cake.) If you’re like me and don’t want to wrestle two kids, a double stroller and a hangry toddler at the mall, online shopping is a godsend. Plus, Nordstrom ships for free, so you are not out anything extra.
I should take a moment to mention that I am not being paid by Nordstrom or anyone for this post. I just really, really, really like Nordstrom and their clothes, shoes and accessories…among other things!
So here’s a snapshot of what I purchased at the #nsale this year and what I thought.
So there you go. The #nsale in a nutshell! As I am running on coffee and leftovers I can quickly shove in my face in my sleep deprived state, the least I can do is try to look good when I have to go out in public. (Although now I completely understand why moms grocery shop and drop their kids off at daycare in yoga pants. What a miracle article of clothing!)
It also gave me a boost thinking of wearing some of these things to the office on Fridays, since we usually dress down that day. Although the booties and boots I can find a way to squeeze those in more often. Win!
What did you buy at the Nordstrom sale? Did our shopping bags look similar at all?
